Malmö are in search of back-to-back wins on Monday after a shaky start to the Allsvenskan campaign. The reigning champions are 6 points off the top after only six rounds. Göteborg, developing a reputation of struggling away from home, are on the back of two defeats.

The two teams last met in the Svenska Cupen quarterfinal in March, with Malmö using their home advantage to edge out 1-0 in a tensely–fought match. They will be keen to ensure that they produce the same sort of performance as they seek to stay in touching distance of AIK and Hammarby at the top of the tree.
